Eat. Sleep. Read.

Notes

So Phil is out of town this weekend hanging out with some moped guys. I had a nice quiet night, slept relatively well even though it was just me and the cats. Then I woke up this morning to a crash that came from the laundary/storage room which is directly below our room. The cats were snuggled up with me so I knew it couldn’t have been them.
There is a basement window so I immediately started freaking out thinking someone had broken in. My heart was racing. I called my mom. I really didn’t think someone was in the house but I didn’t want to go down there just to be safe. My mom wanted me to drive out to their house and then my dad would drive here to check it out. Even in my freaked out mode this sounded silly.
I agreed that it was a good idea to get out of the house if I thought someone was in here which I didn’t but was scared. So luckily my brain started to function and I decided to go into the backyard to see if the window was broken. It wasn’t, so I peaked in.
Yep. It was just some Puch exhaust pipes that Phil was storing in the ceiling of the laundry room.
The crash I heard could have been so much louder. The laundry basket totally caught the one exhaust pipe completely and cushioned the fall of the other.
What a way to start the day.
