Just took my Puch out for a quick ride around the neighborhood.

Nom nom nom
With my family everything revolves around the next meal. We are always talking about what we are going to eat next. Thinking about our next meal.
So I kind of love that my last two meals of 2011 are with some of my favorite people.
A special JJM lunch today with Jeni and Megan.
And a fancy dinner with Phil tonight.

what do you mean you don’t like Mexican? I can’t even fathom this at all. What about guacamole?
I am SUPER picky about Mexican. I do like guacamole. And I usually like the rice at most places. I found chicken tacos that I like at a couple of restaurants, but it’s the last type of cuisine I would chose. I do LOVE...
Not to toot my own horn but
Phil is lucky. I am making him mexican for dinner, which I really don’t like. The smells of it all make me want to throw up right now. But he has been working really hard this week and I know he’ll enjoy it.
So the doctor said it’s bronchitis. I think the worst of it is behind me. Started antibiotics and got some cough syrup with codeine.
I am hopefully marking this as the end of this being a sick blog.
I’m still alive. This cold will not die. Off to the doctor this morning.

I wish I could stay in bed today. Still feeling crappy.
Phil is my hero.
I just looked at the recipe I am making for tonight and it calls for two items I do not have and did not see were in the recipe.
He just rode the Derbi down to the grocery store to get these two items for me.
I worked at the grocery store in high school and never really minded how busy it was around the holidays, but I also remembered thinking I’d never want to be shopping there on an...

YES. I am loving it and I am not even that far in.
I just want to go home and snuggle up with the cats and read.
2012 just might be the year of brain candy for me. →
Is there anything smart publishing in 2012? I haven’t seen too many 2012 anticipated lists.

Wow. I just realized I’ve only finished one, that’s right just ONE book this month so far. That is sad.

I hate that feeling that the fate of the world is in the hands of a small group of men acting like 10-year-olds giddy from root beer and Doritos and the power of staying up three hours past their bedtimes playing a marathon game of Risk.
