I’ll probably finish up House at Riverton tonight. Not sure what to read next but I am thinking I need something a little more contemporary for a change. Then on to the trashy book club book.
I feel like everything from earlier in the week is catching up to me. I am exhausted and a little sad.
Thanks to everyone who reached out this week. Things are looking up. I am just tired and there is no sunshine.

What if it’s a unicorn? :)
OMG that would be AMAZING!
Although now I am wondering if they are teasing me and just created the shipping label because there isn’t any tracking information when I check.
Hmmmmm....
I pre-odered a book that publishes March 1. I got an e-mail yesterday saying my order shipped.
When I go out to the web the book still says that you can only pre-order it.
I’m curious to see what shows up at my house.

walkwhilereading asked: Okay, I saw the Hunger Games trailer last night during the Super Bowl. Now I haven't read any of the books, but I have to admit, the trailer looked a little ummmmmm not so good. Do you think the movie will be close to the books, or will Hollywood butcher the series and serve up, some explosion laced, non-interesting, series of films I won't want to see?

Yes, that too. I plan on having many fancy cocktails in your honor.
Just requested off for March 23. You know because I’ll be at the movie theater at midnight seeing The Hunger Games!
Tonight at the grocery store
I only went to pick up a couple of small things (tea and flowers) to give a couple of coworkers as a thank you for bailing me out of a mistake I made this week. I also wanted wine. I had been thinking about wine all day today.
Once in line I realized that my ID was in my nook case which was at home. I hoped and prayed I looked old and tired to the cashier so she wouldn’t card me. I go to...

Dear friends,
I feel slightly uncouth doing this for reasons I can’t explain, but I’m going to do it anyway, as a thank you to you all and also as a shameless promotional tool for the book. W.W. Norton thanks you for understanding.
I’d like to give away two signed copies of HEFT. I will write…
I have been hearing great things about this book.

I also really enjoyed revisiting P&P.
And The Fault in Our Stars was great too!
It was a pretty good reading month.
